Places of Worship

Whatever your religious beliefs or denomination the Hebrides has lots of places to worship. In the mainly Presbyterian islands of Lewis, Harris and North Uist there are Presbyterian churches in most areas. There is a Catholic Church, as well as other, smaller denominations, in Stornoway.

The Islands of Benbecula, South Uist and Barra are predominantly Catholic, with churches on South Uist and Barra. There is a small sprinkling of Presbyterian congregations throughout....
