Well positioned in the North Atlantic to receive swells from any direction and with a range of fantastic reef and beach breaks, these islands have the most consistent surf in Europe. Lewis was host to Derek Hynd's International Surfing Competition in 2001, which attracted world class competitors such as Tom Curran.
