Horseriding and Pony Trekking

The islands’ fantastic landscapes are perfect for horseriding and ponytrekking, for adults and children of all abilities.

The Uists is the place to go if you want to sample some horse riding while you are on holiday.

Centrally located in Balivanich, the main town on the Isle of Benbecula, the Uist Community Riding School offers road, beach and picnic rides, all day and leading rein hacks. One of the highlights must be the chance to ride along such beautiful, white sandy beaches.
